Bringing people together and creating shared authentic experiences is what I do best. Listening, engaging, and celebrating, our collective stories together is at the core of what Sweet Events is all about.

I am born and raised on Hatteras Island. With the exception of my time living in Costa Rica, I have lived on Hatteras my entire life. As a teenager I started to volunteer in my community coaching sports and mentoring younger kids and it was at this point that I discovered my passion for facilitating safe, fun, and creative spaces for others to be their true authentic selves, and I haven’t looked back since. I bring over 15 years experience of planning events in across different professions, industries, and settings.

My background is in Art Education and I completed my studies teaching at a local school in Nicoya, Costa Rica. After graduating college I decided the classroom was not for me and ever since have worked with my family in the tourism and hospitality industry. When not working with Sweet Events I am USCG certified boat captain and help operate Hatteras Parasail, Jet Ski rentals, and boat rentals with my siblings and parents. In my spare time you can find me surfing, spear fishing, and being active.
